• Gas mileage, suprising. 32 mpg

I allways keep track of my gas mileage (I acctually have a spread sheet to keep track of it). I usually get 19-21 mpg 100% city. When I did my first solo Highway trip, I was suprised to find out that I got 32 mpg @ a constant speed of 69mph and about 15 miles of 60 mph. My mods are as follows Flowmaster cat back, K&N, FRA mod, negated air silencer, raised air box. I Just put on a new cat and cant wait to see what that does. Post your best mileage if you don't mind.

Best highway was 34 mpg from Atlanta to home (about 3.5 hours driving non-stop) going between 70-75 the entire trip. I guess that's the one good thing about 3.08's . Lately I've only been doing city driving and when I filled up yesterday, I got 17 mpg, but normally I get around 22 city.

On my trip from Baltimore to Mt. Vernon, I got 36 mpg. I didnt start tracking it until about 100 miles in the trip when I filled up. And that also includes a few weeks of driving around here in town. Suprised me, especially since I have a few bolt-ons. In Baltimore, which was all city driving, I got around 19 max. Now, I have been averaging about 27, but it's a much smaller town, less distance, less stop and go, etc... Not too shabby. Of course, my girlfriend's civic averages 38 mpg, and it has 210,000 miles on it.

My best was 29.5 on 75/25 highway/city. Now I usually get about 27 without babying it.

My all time best was driving out of Texas to Illinois. I overfilled the tank to the max, got on the interstate and made one pit stop. I had a serious tailwind of maybe 20-30 mph all through Texas. I went 500.1 miles on that tank and ran out of gas as I was pulling into the gas station. Never went that far again.

Wow, some of you guys get good mileage.

I get about 22, but I do alot of highway driving to work and back (about 25 miles). So I really thought I would get much better mileage.

Before I got my ram air kit, I was getting 20 or so miles *less* per tank. It was a good way of justifying the kit!
