I while back I took off my DIS-4 because it had a violent miss when I would accelerate. I noticed the LED was flashing. I bought a new battery and it still did it.I checked my wiring and grounds and they looked ok. I recently put it back on but the LED is still flashing but no miss yet. Any ideas?

BTW when I completely took off the MSD, the miss went away.

How many volts is your alternator putting out? If you go for a quick drive on the highway and come back, does it still blink?

The DIS 4 maginifies any flaw in the ignition system. So I'd make sure the coil packs are tight, check the wires, and check the plugs. If everything still appears fine, have the coils tested and also test the wires.

Then the possibilities are the CIU's and the coil interface module(the base thingy). The CIU's are cheap; the cim is not(like 80 bucks).
