my car came with a white overlay on my speedometer i really dont like it so i took it off. to get the overlay off i had to the tachs off well now i put them back on and nothing is reading right so how do i fix this?

For the Tack, let the engine warm up then position it where it would normally idle as warm (not very accurate, but the tack´s not really that accurate anyways). For the spedo, I would drive really slowly, say 5 mph (brisk walk) and push the needle back on at that speed, lest that worked for my last car. If you know the governer´s speed, you could do it that way too, but that´s a little too exciting for my taste.
