not in the right forum but, the quick and dirty is unbolt the thermostat housing, and replace the thermostat....start the car...let it come to temp and bleed out the air.....if your that clueless I suggest having someone help you.
160 degree thermostats are totally okay. Its been almost zero here and I've had no problem. Trust me, with cylinders having flame temperatures up to 4500*F, that coolant is gonna heat up just fine.
