Heh... how do I remove the wiper blades from my firebird? This is so embarassing but I just can't figure it out. I come home with two new Trico teflon blades and am excited to finally be able to SEE when driving in the rain without worrying about scratches on my windshield only to find that I cant remobe the blades I have already!
if i was there i could do it in 2 seconds, but explaining in words is really difficult....i will try to. didnt it come with directions???
1st) pull up the winshield wiper off the window as if you were going to clean the windshield off.
2nd) there should be a black tab that snaps it into place (right in the middle)
3rd) im pretty sure as you are holding down that black tab you either pull the whole windshield wiper blade away from you or towards you and it should slide off
4th) if the old one comes off then putting the new one on just slides in place (you dont have to hold the black tab. (it will automatically snap in place.
it does take some pulling and tugging because the design of f-body wiper blade mounts sux
*dont worry it took me 20 minutes the first time i changed my blades now i can do it in 1 minute*
once you see how its dont it will take you 2 seconds... push black take, and slide off. The whole thing comes off, not jest the rubber whiper.
