fuel pump

ok i was driving my car and all of a sudden it spudder and then died i tried to start it back up but it just started for a sec then died i got some startfluid and hit it with it and if starts when i spray that in there so i think it is the fuel pump can some one give me a link to show me the fuel pump access i cant find it on how to and if any one thinks it is something else help me out thanks.

try changing your fuel filter first before you go cutting holes in your car and replacing the pump

i did its good changed it 4 months ago got any more ideas what it could be thanks.

i just pm'd him to check fuel pressure off the schreder valve, gave you kind of a step by step

ok i have been working on my car today and the pump was not turning on but i took the pump out and took every thing apart and look at it then i got wondering and plugged the pump up and then turned the key on and it started to work again so i put every thing back on start the car and its running so i go down the street about half a mile and it starts to spudder and then it dies and it wont start now what do you guys think baqd fuel pump.

yea it is a bad pump. Mine did that when it was going out, would start then die the next time I tried to start it. walbro pump is your best choice

Just find the cheapest Walbro 255 lol. Ebay (brand new only), Summit, Jegs - you name it.

ok could you tell me if the walbro 255 pumps for the ls1 or lt1 would work in my car (02 camaro v6).

I know the LT1 pump for sure tho i am pretty sure either or is a universal connection.

ok i got a question about the walbro fuel pumps i just called a company up tre performance and they said the walbro pumps will work but on all performance pumps they dont have that little tit thats on are pumps for that small little blackish hose that goes from the pump to i think the bottom of of the canister do guys know what im talking about he said if are cars have that hose and i put that walbro on he said it could run outa gas at a quarter mark does your guys have that little tit on your walbro.

Hey I was looking around for a fuel pump and found TRE performances website they list a v6 camaro pump. It shows to have that small hose you talk of that goes in the bottom of the canister.

Has anyone had any experience with TRE performance? Looks like a direct replacement, any modification to get this to work?
