  • OMG Need bolt sizes!

Ahhhhhh i'm goin crazy tryin to find these bolts!

I got a new throttle body from funkz who port and polished one for me, but i can't find my old bolts! I've literally looked for hours and have decided they must have gotten thrown away =(

I need the exact size of the 2 bolts (1 is longer 1 is shorter) that bolt the 3.4 throttle body to the plenum... i need exact sizes people!

5$ paypal to anyone who takes out the bolts from their 3.4 tb (takes like 2 minutes) and tells me exactly what bolts i need to buy!

    thank you!!!!

well i got 5 studs from gm parts direct part # 10048605

and i also ordered one bolt part # 10067660

the other number you posted (11514158) does not come up as a gm part #

did you misprint it by chance?

do i have everything i need now?

          Re: OMG Need bolt sizes!

Ok, those were from the Camaro manual. While the Firebird manual shouldn't be any different, it lists 10067660, which gives me a hit in GMPartsdirect (the other one must have been either wrong or superceded)

The stud comes with a nut? You'll need one if you're using it.

Oh, and don't worry about the $5. A good lead on tickets for the Sens game next week would be nice, I'll be back in Buffalo to see it!

dont you think i can just pick up those nuts at a hardware store?

all i'm worried about is having the two bolts that i need.

and i believe that one is a stud and one is that bolt am i correct?

by the way gm rapes when it comes to replacement parts... 24$ for 5 studs and one bolt... =(

                      Re: OMG Need bolt sizes!

Yah, any decent hardware store will carry metric bolts and nuts in a good strength rating.

I know ACE Hardware, has saved me alot on finding bolts and what not. They carry grade 8 and also 10.9.

I have used boltdepot.com for hardened metric suspension bolts but just to buy 2 bolts for the TB shipping is probably more than the bolts.
