    do u guys remember how many nuts there were? i know there were two bolts, one long and one short which i now have ordered, but how many nuts were there? my gut tells me just one and it hold the throttle cable housing onto the long bolt but is that the only one? and what size nut(s) will i need to buy?

      There is only one like you said. If the new stud doesn't come with a nut already just take it to your local hardware store and find one that fits.
