Yesterday I installed some NGK Iridium Spark Plugs and drove down the road then all of a sudden my car started sputtering and jerking and sounded like my engine was having trouble. I immediately changed back to my old spark plugs and now my car is working fine.... Does anyone know why my car was doing this? Does my car not like the Iridium spark plug? Has this happened to anyone else before with these spark plugs?

Re: Problem with NGK Iridium Spark Plugs
sorry dude but i doubt its the kind of spark plug that caused the problem. Make sure you gap it correctly, i believe its .045 also i would probably think you didnt connect the plug wires correctly, if you don't get one of em on there it will cause huge misfiring, make sure you hear them snap into place on the plug. Install them again and make sure you do all these things, it should be fine.
