Ok, you just need to get rid of the governor. Like.. are you guys just doing top speed races then? I don't understand the point.. You could make a lawnmower go 200 with the right gears. Hey, why don't you work on that. That'd be somethin I'd want to see :excited: :burn:
That was my point that I made about the same time you did. Great minds think alike, I suppose. :D Oh, and crazy fast lawnmower, ftw.
first of all, fast lawnmowers ftw, second its not about top speeds in life, its about how fast you can get there. My 3.4 can go 110 mph but it takes like 35 seconds of full throttle to get there so its actually really gay.
You could always go to the dyno also, got mine to 137 mph in 4th gear when I had my powerdyne on a few years ago.

me... its the way you drive to get there... :naughty:
well i read on Car&driver about a Hyundai Sonata ran 147 mph according to the Traffic Camera in arizona... but the car has max 130mph.. so they asked Hyundai if it was possible.. they said it could be if the course was downhill... and to think the Sonata used was a "Rental Car"
Horsepower is how fast you hit the Minivan... Torque is how far you take the Minivan with you... :wavey:

Top speed is great and all but getting there is where all the fun is.
Def agree. It's not too smart to be going that fast on public roads. That's the kind of thing you read about in the paper. "Fatal car crash: sports car crashes due to blowout at 130mph." Just don't involve anyone else man...
Ok you guys don't believe me. Next time I go 125MPH I'll record it and put a link up for you guys to see my top speed.
ok how about you dont do that cause the last thing we need is another idiot doing over twice the legal speed limit driving down a public road trying to record his speedometer. save the speed stuff for a track where your not going to hurt anyone else.

I second that as well. 125 mph is NOT something to be done with one hand.

Obviously, the OP and his buddy are racing to see who'll get killed first. And if the OP is going to drive 125 one-handed, I'm putting my money he'll be the first smear on the interstate.
dawg I been to 200mph in my v6 its scary, **** start flying around and ****. it was so fast that my collent pipes start busting out and my crankshaft almost came out plus all that was done on a spair wheel.
