well I am trying to pin point where my Antifreeze is going, so I decided to drain a little oil from the pan.. Water sits on bottom, oil floats right.. well I drained about 1/2 cup and it looks like liquid chocolate.
So there is NO Light Tan Moca color to it, but it also doesnt look like Natural oil. Now I havent done an oil change I know I know, since I have bought it, However, it literally looks like Choco syrup. (forgive the spelling its late).
However, There is a slight Gasoline smell to it.... Now being a Petro tech from the army, I have never ran into this before.
How would the oil smell like fuel??? I am also thinking that if I Do have some fuel getting into my oil, it would explain the color of it... it looks like oil when a swirl it around in the cup, but its not clear. It isnt black. its a very dark brown color, non transparent and smells slightly like gasoline.
Any suggestions?
And my antifreeze is still going somewhere...
