    'check gages' means one of your dash guages has a reading that needs attention. typically i get it when i get low on gas. i have seen it illuminate for a bad alternator (the voltage gauge had a low reading). i suspect it will also illuminate for low oil pressure.

      Yep. All of the above and the temp gauge. I've had my car past the red mark! :eek: I also had the voltage gauge WELL into the yellow while the stereo is bumpin. :D
