You've got a bunch of other mods to do before even considering a cam.

When I was shopping for a camaro 3 months ago, I was looking at possibly a V8 Knowing the horsepower was there, and I would love having it at the slightest move of my foot. But looking at the price of gas, insurance, and the fact that my foot would be in it all the time and costing me too much all the time. Well, with that... a V6 has enough "umpfft" in it, to make me happy, keep the gas price down, and insurance. And there is so many things that you can do to get more power out of it anyways.

I'm not saying you can't have them, isn't that killing your gas mileage though?

probably. but the benefits at the track would make me get them.

headers and a high flow cat converter. finish the exhaust first then worry about the rest.
