  • GPS Mount

For xmas I recieved this xm radio unit for the car. Problem is that I can't mount it until I move my navmate gps. Which is currently mounted via double sided tape over my center air vent. It came with a mount for the windshield but thats a no no here. So I found a universal firebird mount over at gsmcellular. I paid for it back in dec and just found out that the item was lost in transit and they conveniently no longer carry it. I can't find this thing anywhere else. I'm sure someone else here must have a gps also. Anyone know where I can find a mount?

I emailed the company behind navmate a while ago but thats the only one they make and they suggested gsm cellular in the first place..

I'm sorry I didn't really clarify it well. I have the xm kit with the mount and everything but I can't mount it because the gps is in the way. The gps came with the windshield mount but I can't use it so I have it on with double sided tape. It was a non windshield gps mount I was looking for. I managed to find one though after some more searching. I appreciate the offer though. Thank you.

I had one of these once and it worked great with the passanger side cup holder ... http://www.autobarn.net/rodi/celphoncupho.html it would probably work great for the GPS.

My gps might be a little to fat for that to hold. But it might work pretty well for my cell. I just might look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I put my roady2 (with mounting stand) in the cup holder. The stand keeps it from moving around. No tape, no glue, no drilling. And it moves from car to car very easily.
