Firewall grommet ?

Hey guys Im installing my boost gauge and instead of running the hose all the way to the pass sode to go through the grommet I was wondering if there is a drivers side one. If not where would be a good place to drill through the driversside cuz i hav a nice little grommet that i could use anyway. Thanks for any help

There is a black plastic piece on the drivers side firewall. There is a bundle of wires that go into the passenger compartment. You will see a bolt at the top of it. Looking at the front of the car it is to the right of the engine and left of the power brake booster. Down a ways. Be careful NOT to drill into the wires. This has happened. I ran my boost/vac line through there as well as the sender wires for my f/p and a/f gauges. You can see it from the inside to the top left of the break pedal. Drill through this. You can maybe find a grommet for it somewhere. I wrapped my wires in electrical tape, and sealed it. Hope this helps, Jessica

make your own. a company called "help" (also doorman and motormite) sells gromets at any parts store. Get yourself one and drill a small well placed hole.
