My bad, forgot he had the 3.4. I've got the 3.8,and I went with the GT2 from ZZP. Nice gains from it, can't wait to get it tuned. Runs fine with stock tune, but a dyno-tune should really wake it up :D. I didn't change my lifters, rockers, pushrods, or anything, just the timing chain, dampener, gaskets, and cam.
Re: haha uhmm dont think that was supposed to happen
man i higly recommed you to put new lifters when you putting a new cam 'cause the old lifters are already seated for the old cam, when they seat in the new cam they can hurt it badly specially if the cam has high lift, i've seen that before, scratchs in the camshaft, specially with mechanic and hydraulic, but even with roller lifters.
Re: haha uhmm dont think that was supposed to happen
Wow, shocked you just put the old lifters back in with a new cam... seems from my old Hot Rodding days that was a major no-no. Ah well, too late now, ftl. Good luck on it, and we'll keep our fingers crossed
