I have a question for you guys. I have a 2002 V6 Camaro with about 94,000 miles on it. Just recently it has started to shake under full throttle. It only does it when it is above 3,000 RPM. It also feels like the car is losing power when above 3,000 RPM. What could the problem be? Any and all information would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: Car Shakes???
It feels like it is coming from either the transmission or drive shaft. I just had a new fuel pump put in about 9 months ago. I also just put new MSD wires and plugs in the car about 5 months ago. The motor seems fine. Does not hesitate at all when I just rev it. The shaking comes from the middle of the car, right around the front seats.ITS ALL STOCK - TRUST ME

Re: Car Shakes???
My first thoughts: Universal Joint !
Jack it up, or drive it up on stands (like that works on our cars ) and look under there. You should find something loose.2002 Navy Blue Metallic Blue Firebird A4
Pure stock (Hey, just bought it 11/07)

Re: Car Shakes???
Mine is doing that when its cold at 2k rpm under moderate load. Do a routine tune up (plugs, wires, seafoam, fuel filter) until you take the diagnostic any further. U joints and trans mount are worth checking, both are quite inexpensive.
Note, it won't be a vacuum leak, since vacuum leaks tend to show at idle and/or lower rpm.Last edited by greasemonkey; 01-07-2008, 01:55 PM.
