Ok,I know already that changing the spark plugs on 94 3.4 L firebird is a B!tch by the reactions of Mechanics and the estimated cost to do it. I dont have the 160$ right now to get them installed so My buddies and I are going to try to put them in ourselves. Does anyone have any tips on how to reach the plugs that are all the way in the back?

On a 3.4 it's easy, all you need is a spark plug socket or a 5/8ths socket a few misc extensions and a ratchet, my plugs with stock manifolds take me all of 30 minutes TOPS to do. Be careful pulling off the plug wires when you remove them from the plugs that are in there, use neversease on the spark plug threads and dielectrec grease on the top of hte plug to keep the plug wire from welding itself to the plug (makes your life easier if you have to change plugs again)

Definitely go for it, its not that hard at all... I think you might need a universal extension, but other then that a decent socket set and it shouldn't be so hard.
