I have a 1997 camaro. The airbag light stays on, even though the air bags are not hooked up. I have HPTuners, and I feel like an idiot for asking this question...but where in HPTuners do i find the area so that I can turn the airbag light off? Thx

uhhh...the airbags aren't connected...that's why the lights comes on. To let you know that the airbag are inoperable... -

Hahaha, yes. I know why the light is on:rolleyes:, I want to know if I can turn the light off by using HPTuners, or do something else other than actually hooking up the airbags. Why in the world don't you want the air bags hooked up? Think they don't save lives? The real world data doesn't suggest that... ok, unless you are

Air bags aren't controlled by the PCM, So HPT will not give you any options for the AIR BAG light. Pull The bulb out of the dash or hook them back up.
