You could grab yourself a whisper lid and a K&N, but let me warn you I saw a loss with the whisper lid, dunno why but I did.

If you really wanted to jump into it go with a new gear ration, 3:23, 3:42, 3:73, or 4:10. Read up allot of infomation here about all the differant ratios. U can see in my sig I un 3:42's as do allot of people here. Ne ways email me if u want and ill give u a big rundown of stuff to do hehe.

Whisper lids do NOT fit a 96.

a short-throw shifter or maybe some suspension upgrades, lca's or poly bushings on the tranny and torque arm,z28 sway bars with poly bushing would help handleing alot
if you want a few more hp you could put in underdrive pullys,or an l67 timeing chain will let you advance the cam timeing a few degrees
if your still usein the stock cat you should get a highflow one, headers are good if you have the money
some good spark plugs and wires would be a good idea,'specally if your still on the stock wires

get the new roller rocker kit from SLP. there's a review on it in gm high-tech perf. magazine. it's $550 and showed a 10hp increase on the dyno. www.slpnj.com
