ok so about a couple months ago i saw that my oil pressure was at 60 when it wasn't under load..when under load it would go to the normal pressure....i checked the dipstick and it wasn't at the full line. so i put about a half quart in and it was good. Now it started doing the same thing and i checked the dipstick and the oil seemed to only cover about 70% of the grated area underneath "FULL". What is goin on my car only has 17,000 miles on it? Could it be burning oil? I'm not seeing any blue smoke...any feedback would be helpful...oh, and it didn't do this b4 my last oil change...and i haven't seen any sign of oil drops on my driveway so i'm pretty sure everything got tightened sufficiently....
