the thing with the black cap off of it.. looks like a tire tube thing?
if so.. do i push in it until all of the air is done blowing out of it? last time i did this i blew alot of air out and i figured i must've had the wrong valve. i thought it was for the a/c
lol thats for your ac, the bleeder screw (assuming that is a 3.8) is on the right side of the engine where the thermostat is (it will be on the thermo housing) just follow the UPPER rad hose and you will see it.
if you arent sure, take a picture of your engine (pref. the right side) and i will show you where it is
if its on that same pipe where the thermostat goes.. then its the bolt you unscrew with a flathead? is that it? i did that and nothing came out..so that means i have no air in my system?
omg stop what you are doing. take your car to a shop. leave the poor thing alone. not to be mean but you kont know your ac lines from you coolant lines. LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!
If nothing comes out, your car hasn't warmed up yet. Wait for it to get to 210ish on the gauge, and then go and open up the bleeder valve. Listen for some hissing or air coming from the valve. If you don't hear anything, open it further. Eventually, most of the air will be out and some coolant will start spilling out. Don't close the valve until you get a nice steady stream of coolant, not little spurts.
i did that. i let the steam shoot out for more than a minute. then i closed it. car still overheats. the water in my radiator was boiling. i havent filled it with coolant yet cuz i dont wanna waste it. it isnt the water causing it to overheat is it? i'm pretty sure it does the same with coolant. i had coolant in it before i drained it so i can flush it.

uh, water will boil in the rad without any coolant in it.
Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
