My fuel pump is broken. Any way to make it work just ONCE?

I need to start my car to drive it to the shop but the fuel pump has been broken for a while. It cranks strong but won't turn over. Is there any way to start this damn thing just one more time??? Bang on the gas tank with a sledgehammer or pee in the center console? I don't want to pay for another tow.

better get the wallet out. sometimes it will start after sitting for an hour, but it is probably totally dead.

Not even. It just cranks and cranks really fast but it doesn't fire.

Find a buddy with tow ropes and pull the car to the shop.

Starters run off of electricity, not gas. Might wanna write that one down for future reference.

at my dads shop sometimes we can get them to work to pull them in by banging on the tank.(not hard) sounds weird but it works.

Try spraying starting fluid in the throttle body. I did this when my pump went out. The weak pump combined with the vacume of the motor was enough to get it running. It didn't run great, but it was enough to drive it around a little. It actually worked for three or four days. Then it refused to start at all. New pump, and all is well.
