    i really donno bro,like as wut i said before my friend's dad offered me to do it,but what if the problem is bigger than that,cause ive been driving the car for more than 3 weeks while it was overheating(i was adding more coolent everyonce a while)

      hmmm good point, i suppose the safe bet is to pay more and know the job is done right, plus if the car's still focked up u can make them fix it.

        Maybe the intake gasket, mine did the same thing but without overheating.

          yeah man i prefer paying more money and make sure that the car will run fine..yeah it could be the intake gasket,right now the car is setting in the shop while the mechanic is waiting for me to give him a downpayment so he fix it,ill probably be able to get the money in 5 days,so ill keep u up guys on whats really wrong with it..thxx for your help

            Water in the oil... best case is just a blown head gasket. Worst case, cracked block. :(
            He has NO experience on motors... don't suggest him tackling this problem, unless you intend on helping him do it.:banana:
            You need to look around at your local car nut buddies and see if any of them have any experience doing motor work. It's really not that tough if you have a place to do it, tools, and someone to offer a little guidance. (In person)
            IMHO, $100 a hour:eek: is a little high for shop work. Look around, but it may just be where you are.
