My sending unit went out in the fuel tank, still under warranty. OK the dealer asked if I added the flowmaster muffler which I did. He said the stock muffler used clamps...NO sorry it did not. I remember taking a saws all to cut it off. They had to remove the muffler to get to the fuel tank and are charging me for that. HELP if any of you Y87 guys or non Y87 guys have pictures of you stock muffler that are welded in send them to me please so I can show the dealer he is WRONG. The dealer claims it is the type of fuel around here but also said vettes and cavaliers sending units go out alot.
