If you're talking about oil pressure sending unit, it should be on the back of the intake manifold near the block/manifold junction.

If you're talking about the oil level sending unit, it's a fitting in the oil pan.
    Big cam. Big stall. Big nuts.<br /><br /><a href=\"http://www.streetlethal.net/vids2/joenastycam.MPG\" target=\"_blank\">Idle/Rev Clip.</a>

The oil pressure sending unit on a 3.8L is located on the front of the block near the oil filter. It will be a small cylinder shape with wires connected to one end.

The reason why is because I want to get an auto meter oil temp gauge and I want to know where to pick the temp up at. Do you guys know where?

Yea, if you look at your oil filter on the front of your block from the top, the sender is withing 6 inches from there, just a little above and to the driver's side of the filter. I believe the connecter has some green on it, but might be wrong. About 3 or 4 inches long with a harness plugging into it.
