• How much HP?

alright i have a 3.4 camaro
i was just curious as to how much HP i probably have w/ my mods.

k&n air filter (just the filter)
flowmaster exhaust (dual)
high flow CAT

and what else can i do, without NOS, to increase HP.. but not spend a fortune.. im still in high school and am limited on the cash flow

Around 165-170 flywheel hp

With the exception of nitrous, the best single mod to add hp is an aftermarket cam. But it could be fairly expensive if you have to get it installed at a shop. Then you may need to get some kind of tuning.

Definatly go gears.....I went 3.73's cause the jump from 3.23's to 3.42's I felt were not worth the money. $300-$500 parts/labor

Change out your 2pc steel driveshaft for a 1pc aluminum free's up sum power to the wheels. not sure on prices

a shift kit wont make your car faster but it will make your cars tranny feel a hell of a lot tighter! from what I hear trans-go is the best to get....I went with B&m and i have absolutly no problems with it...also a lot cheaper

Well if he has a 3.4 engine then he is running 160HP stock, but at the wheels is more like 140 or less. With all his mods I'd say he has around 150 at the wheels. Get some headers and cams and get your car dynoed to be sure.
