can you put a ford v8 engine in a firebird?

i seen once where a mustang supposely had a ls1 in it. how hard is it to put a ford 5.0 or ford 4.6 into a firebird?

probably about the same difficulty as getting a LS1 in a car that was built with a 3.8, since niether operation is plug-and-play

They put the chevy engine in the ford because ford engines suck.. Why would you want to put a ford engine in a F-body?

that would be damn hard, engine harness, computers, getting the gauges to work.

only for engines i would swap would be a terminator motor or a 5.4 from the Cobra R

I know they make a chevy adaption kit for ford, but im not sure if they make a ford adaption kit
