I've been having some problems with my fuel gage bouncing all over the place... it's been like that for a few years!!!

I found a fuel level sensor. The fuel pump itself is still good (no problems there). Has anyone replaced theirs??? I could use a little info on this.

    Appreciate any replies

i think most older chevys are like that, my camaro's gas guage moves around, and so does the one in my truck. i think they just have a bad design and move around with the slosh in the tank.

mine would be on 1/4 even though it was full and (i've been using the trip - 350 miles and I need gas then) when I'm down to the last 50 miles or so before I have to fill up... it would be at 3/4 or full. I have had it to were it would go back and forth.... it's a mess!
