get a pair of needle nose pliers for one side, 20mm (or 13/16") and a 16mm (or 5/8") wrenches take care of the other side. And fuel filters are exposed to the elements, so a can of penetrating oil won't hurt either. If you know it needs changing take care of it ASAP or you'll strain your fuel pump.

What other steps is there? Do you need to have low fuel(almost E) so that much fuel doesn't come out?? And i'm assuming a catch pan for what spills out right? I'd like to do this to my also Firebird as I do not know when or if it has ever been changed. Thanks
