• stupid question about my camaro

ive always wonder when you would need to use the 2nd gear start button next to the cigarette lighter. mines a 96 i dunno if they got rid of it on any models. i was just curious about that.

Mine has it, too. But, I try to avoid snow and ice whenever possible, so I have never used it.

it works. not well. but it works in a pinch. when i had my 3.4 it turned itself on all the time. it was a PITA. my T/A has a trans perform button instead. i wonder if that would be a good thing in snow?

current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

My camaro has spent most of its life in the blizzard-belt (Michigan, Boston, etc.)and SGS has been pretty useful. When combined with the limited slip diff, I've been able to power through just about any snow storm that has come my way.

If you've upgraded your tires to 245's or wider, your car will spin the wheels under even light throttle on bad roads. While this might make it a lot easier to live out any drifting fantasies, it makes it really tough to drive safely in really bad conditions.
