my 87 mustang gt has 500,000 miles.. and the whole cluster is removable..so couldnt i just put a different cluster in it that says maybe 40,000 miles? it doesnt list the mileage on the title.its exempt. then i could sell it for alot of money. thats if i was a con-artist and wanted to sell it. i'm not selling it though... i love the car.

Re: something i was wondering about..
The DMV boys will definitaly want to talk to you if you start crap like that, any one that knows anything about cars will know you are just BS. I turned a dealer in for and filed a compliant, he called me and told me to name a price that I wanted to make me happy. DMV had him by the short hairs for doing exactly what you are dreaming about

You would be surprised what the DMV knows or can find out....I have been in dealings with them myself a couple of times and you don't have a chance if they smell blood. Thats why I knew I had the dealer when they misrepresented mileage.......
