    1998 Firebird Does Not Stay Cranked

    Car turns-over and starts fine, but unless you give it gas immediately it will not catch the idle and dies.

    If you rev the engine for a few minutes or drive for a block or so, the whole issue goes away and the engine works perfectly.

    The car is a 6 Cyl manual transmission '98 firebird.

    Does anyone have any ideas????
