Ok I could quite find a thread that had my problem so here goes. 96 camaro mt, 3.8 v-60000 I loaned it to my brother for a couple days and when I got it back it kinda flooded when it first cranked then smoothed out some but when I got in to drive up the road if you accelerate past 2500 it just chokes and falls on it face. hmmm? but its got progressively worse nafter a few days it barely will crank and idle either goes way low and chokes and dies or idles up to about 4000 rpm but the instant you touch the gas spit pop sputter and dead?? I'm at a lose I though maf sensor I looked at the elements but they dont appear to be damanged so IDK? help please! me love you long time:naughty:

Re: No acceleration!!!!!
yes it is opening and I dont think an o2 sensor could cause this much damage. What is the operating fuel pressure for my car I'm gonna check it next oh and also when you first crank it, it has a loud sucking sound like every vaccuum line on the engine is off its always done this but it usually goes away after just a second now its constant and if you try to rev it, it spits and pops through the intake when its cold anyway
