I m wondering what could be wrong with my car the heater dosent work anymore and while Im driving my cars temperture is at 230 or 240 then I can feel the heat coming from the ac and then my cars temperture goes down to about 210. The heat from my ac seem to have something to do with my cars temperture does anyone know what could be wrong. Also theres smoke coming from my engine bay
not trying to be a wise guy...I think he means check the coolant level.
Make sure the engine is cooled off, then check coolant level in radiator by removing radiator cap and looking into it, and also check the level in overflow tank by removing/reading the plastic stick. Hope that helps clear up the suggestion some.
thats the problem the car is only blowing cold air when the ac is on even when the heater is on the air is still cold. What happens is the ac will finally blow hot air and then my temperture drops from 240 to aroung 200 or 210
so would you suggest buying a new thermostat because I have enough coolant and I just replaced my radiator with a brand new one so I really don't know where to go
the radiator was replaced when my car began over heating the car would go all the way to 260 and basically shut down now it dosent do that since the radiator been replaced. Whats the best thermostat that I need to ask for tomorrow morning
The way your heater doesn't work and then all the sudden does sounds like an air pocket in the cooling system. The thermostat can't open unless it has hot water making it open.
