Well i got around to changing my factory plugs last night in preperations for my charger going on and i was shocked to say the least at what the plugs looked like. These are supposed to be the factory 100,000 mile plugs and they are completely trashed... To date i have no mods on my car other than gears... Check out the pics
Your plugs are fine. They are designed that way. There is an electrode on the arm so that they last longer. Whenever the plug fires it loses some metal from the arm where the spark jumps. They found that the electode metal doesn't lose as much than the arm. Dissimilar metals. They weld a new electrode to the other side. Same metal as the the inner electrode. This way they last longer and don't lose as much metal. That's about the easiest that I can explain it.
