today i looked at my bird and noticed that in my auto shifter that it wasnt lit(ie. Park,Drive,Reverse, etc..) , is there no bulb there or is mine out.

Blown bulb. To get to it...at least on a 97+ is to remove the upper portion of center console. The bulb is located on the lower end of the indicator.
Simple 10 minute job.
Remove shifter...two bolts in the center arm rest and pull it off.Comment
