happening when engine is cold, warm? clicking or ticking? Does it change with revs? Last tuneup? Year and engine?

Re: clicking
try some seafoam on your car. Might be a sticky lifter or could just be your fuel injectors clicking when they are firing. Injectors can make noise when older

i have no problems using it sucked up through the brake booster line, but when used in the oil it can clean the gunk buildup causing more wear in your engine
but it is used as a cleaner
my engine ticks also, i just figured it was a lifter, i havent really worried about it, been fine for the past 30k miles
