Just to make sure...idle it with the MAF plugged and see if she dies. If she does, with the power still on, depress the gas...the TB butterfly should open if not, it's the TB itself. It's a unit...so.
man,,,reading your problem remembers me whem my tp sensor got bad,,,it was suddenly with no signs,,, car starts but idle real rough,dies,no accel,dies again ,then high idle then low idle,dies,dies and so on,,,
