  • Replacing Rad hoses.

I found new upper and lower radiator hoses for my 3.4 on summit for a good price so i picked them both up. Now before i go crawling under my car in the middle of winter can anyone gimme some pointers on swapping these things out?

I've already drained the radiator and upper rad hose and honestly the upper rad hose seems easy enough to replace, just one more hose clamp to get at. It's the other one thats got me wondering. First of all, it's kinda jammed inbetween my CAI and the radiator so i don't know if i can reach the hose clamp, second the other end of the hose is located at the bottom of the block, i cant really see it just from lookin down. Thirdly, there is a plastic loop that is holding the hose to the radiator that keeps the hose from dragging on the ground, how exactly does that thing detach from the rad hose? It's a simple enough job i suppose but i like to know everything before i get into it, so as to not break anything in the process.

    thanx
