    holy crap! ive been extremely sick with a 101.2 temp and i didnt even realize i was saying that it would be leaking tranny fluid.

    i meant oil haha. I kno a guy who had an oil pan leak and he used that lucas stuff and it worked pretty well...40,000 miles later on a 120,000 blazer he still hasnt changed the gasket

      is there anything other then that lucas stuff that can help prevent the leak...like any addatives that can be put in?

        In all honesty, you dont want to put any of that crap in your cars system. wether it be your radiator or your oil or your transmission. it plugs things up, in the end causes more problems... IMO with experience to back it

          correct, it seems people on this board dont care if you have experience though, if the product worked for them once, they will say you are wrong, even if you are a car mechanic and have seen the product destroy many many cars

            well that was my next question...are there any problems with putting something like that in...cause I could see it damaging other things lol...

              96 firebird with 137k miles and it leaks some oil from the back of the motor; pretty sure its the rear main seal. i'm gonna replace it with a teflon one sooner or later. when i do i'll let you guys know what to expect when doing it
