      Re: help please

I think motor flush does the same thing as seafoam. I suppose if it says it cleans carbon deposits from the engine, you're good.

doing a motor flush is different than using a product that is suppose to clean carbon deposits

maybe because we have no clue what would be comparable in your country. No need to be a **** about not getting a response instantly.

Why do you need it anyways? Car running bad or you just want to try it out? Do you have auto parts stores in your area?

That's why I said that as long as it says it cleans carbon deposits, then it will work. I wasn't implying that the motor flush does that, but that it might do that.

Do you even have enough road to stretch it out enough to burn some of it out once in awhile? Nothing like running a car hard for 30-40 miles to clean it up

yes we do have auto parts here in aruba the most advanced island in the caribean and yes we do have some highway(not so long though, but we have) we have napa and some others but none of them has seafoam,,,,since seafoam is petrolium distilates,,can an other product containing that same chemical do the job???

                        Re: help please

Yes, but what petroleum distillates is the question. Could be anything in there from heating oil to butane. (don't try either of those). If you are wanting to clean out the crank-case, there are other oil flush products out there. If you are looking to clean out the carbon in the top end, I've heard of a variety of home remedies, ranging from pouring water into the intake (never tried it, never will, don't recommend it) to commercial "Top End Cleaners." I'm sure NAPA will have some sort of TEC and crank-case flush for you. Sea Foam is just easier because seems to work for top end, crank-case, and fuel injection cleaning.

Round here, the NAPA guys know their **** (well, except for that water thing).

dude why are you useing (,) instead of (.) ?? Anyways, you can always ask people at your auto parts store what would remove the carbon buildup in your motor and they should be knowlegable enough to show you what they have. if anything. We are not familiar what you have over there to use so unless you want to give a list of everything the store carries then this isnt much help.:o sry
