fuel pump went out
well folks tonight on my way home fuel pump went out and im not to happy about it. got some ? will a v8 fuel pump fit a v6 or do i just the v6 one? and how hard is it to change it? thanks for the help

well, as far as changing it, its either drop the rear end/most of teh exhaust and then the gas tank OR cut a access panel in the trunk.
mine went last week, damn weather wont give me a break to screw with it though, so its just sitting until further notice.
im not dropping the rear, im cutting a hole in this fuker.

I read that a 99+ Ls1 fuel pump will work in the 99+ v6s. I just bought about a few weeks ago a 99+ racetronix pump from a Group Buy over at ls1tech.
