my car threw a code recently. i went to advance auto to get it checked and it was something along the lines of (small)evap. leak. or something like that. the guy there said it was probably the vacuum lines. how hard is something like that to replace?

    edit: 2000 camaro v6 5 speed

You most likely got gas with the car running or left the gas cap lose.

he actually suggested that first and i checked but it was down tight. then again it hasn't shown up in two days. i'll just leave at the gas cap until it comes back. where would i find a replacement seal for the gas cap anyway?

You buy a new gas cap.

Can't you reset the ECU by unplugging the negative terminal on the battery for a certain amount of time to clear the code?
