what would cause my blower to only work when turned on to the highest setting?

There are generally little coils (resistors) on the back side of the blower switch. My guess is one or two of them are broken. Check there first, if they are broken, you might be able to just fix the coil and save ourself some money.
Either that, or you need a new transmission. :banana:

its most likely your blower motor resistor, VERY common, i bet your switch is fine
BUT, i did have this same problem, and the switch was dirty, i sprayed some wd-40 on it and it works nowComment
