i just installed my supercharger and i have a 6:1 FMU. all the connections are correct. i also installed an air to fuel ratio gauge, and it is wired correctly also. the gauge says that i am running extremely lean, and the smell of my exhaust agrees with that. also, my tailpipes are a sooty black now when yesterday they were nice and shiny. how can i fix this problem of running too lean?

Re: running extremely lean
Yeah, Make sure you get a wideband.
Cost upwards of 275 or so.
Stock is narrowband.
Will look something like this

Re: running extremely lean
wow thats rediculous. well at least those flash from stoich to rich back to stoich then to lean and whatnot. mine just sits at as lean as you can get. 275 is too expensive...im gettin HP tuners eventually and that'll let me know whats up. i just dont want to be driving around if im lean.
