Hi everyone, well my car's gas gauge has been acting crazy lately, like jumping all around and I pretty much have no idea how much gas is really in there due to the increasing fuel prices around here. I checked the fuse for gauges the 10A one on the side of the dash and it was fine, I don't think the float is stuck considering the way it jumps around...so im guessing its the sending unit. So i do some research only to find out that our sending units are built into the fuel pump, so basically I have to buy a new fuel pump which is $460. I noticed a few ppl on here use the walbro 255lph fuel pumps on here and was wondering if those applications came with the sending unit? I know that they are like $150 cheaper than a stock replacement and was just wondering what else I might have to buy to make the walbro work. Thanks in advance.

Re: sending unit built into to fuel pump?
So how do ppl use the walboro with the sending unit? I know nothing about this type of mechanics but I know that the sending unit is built into the fuel pump. Is there anyway to get just the sending unit and wire it to the walboro?
