considering the age of the car, you're probably long-overdue for a seafoam treatement

To be frank, if you need to spend $10k to get into the 13s...you're doing it wrong.

The next time I go to the dragstrip, i will try plugging and unplugging sensors, maybe putting different resistor values in the IAT, etc.:stp: but the stock and weak fuel pump definitely have to go to the trash!, maybe in 2 weeks i'll order a brand new Walbro 255, but i have no idea how long it takes to get it here where i live in mexico, have you? but thanks for taking a little bit of your time:)
I wouldnt go around just unplugging all your sensors. Especially your MAF. Even if the problem is the MAF, it still half works. Just unplug the IAT and drive down the road and see if anything is different.

If that car could come back off of Seafoam alone, then he may need to worry about the Seafoam finishing it off. Head gasket went out on our 3.4 Chevy venture, while I was doing it. I would be very careful on how much you use. But I do agree on using Seafoam.

^even so, adding it to the crankcase would still be highly recommended

i already done the seafoam threatement around 2 months ago, in the gas tank, and in the vaccum line, i noticed smoother running and idle, but it still lack of power around 4k RPM in 2nd and 3rd gear, still struggles to start, it is time to move on the fuel pump.

i don't will spend 10k for run in the 13s, the advantage to live in Mexico is that the machine shops charge A LOT LESS than in the US, Mechanics too, the parts are cheaper if you found it, but some parts you need to order to the US.

dude, I'm 100% sure that my engine is clean inside, last time i changed the oil was around 900 - 1000 miles, i checked it this morning and still has the almost the same color when i pour on it, the same oil level, same smell, and the engine has 200k on it, that talks very good about it(s) previos owners, no strange noises from any kind, runs very strong but lacks of power around 4k+ RPM, could it be tired timing chain/lifters as well? i had not thought it too

Take it to a mechanic and see what he says then. ;)

A failed lifter would make itself audibly known to you.

some lifters loss pressure at high RPMs buy you can't hear it at idle much like some coilpacks, well, a guy at autozone told me that.

I took it to Autozone for a flash scan, the guy say that it's running lean, the O2 sensors are fairly new, (like 3 months) tomorrow i will take it again for fuel pressure check.
