i just wrecked my manual trans. 3.4 in the rear. there's a 95 formula that looks like a pretty good deal that i'm considering. It has front end damage and 132,000 mi. now, other than the fact that its a v8 and an automatic, are there a lot of differences mechancally? I want to keep my 3.4 around for parts in the inevitable event stuff starts going wrong with the formula since its got high miles. but if they're hardly alike then it won't be worth it. i'm really just wondering if i should get the formula or go for another 3.4 or a 3.8.

man, if you got the $$ go for the formula, although I would personally go with manual trans.
If you dont got the $$ then go 3.8, I just don't see why you would go back to 3.4 (no offense to 3.4 owners). I am not really sure exactly what the differences would be though.Lenore
Red 1996 Camaro 3.8L M5
Flowmaster 80 Series, Pro-5.0 Shifter
