I had a 95 3.4 with a blown head gasket and the dealer charged $2k! $1500 just for labor!! Plus they said that they sent the heads off to get checked. I learned the hard way about dealers ripping you off!

If you dont have the money right now, just keep saving then look for another good deal. There are a bunch of camaros out there with good deals. You could always get one later. I got my Mustang really cheap like that and built it up. The reason I went with a Mustang is because parts are a lot cheaper, thanks to Ford making millions of them, lol

I just had my head gaskets replaced since one was blown. It ran just under $1100 but that was for a 3.4L. I would think that V8 parts/labor might run you a extra 100 or so.

If he bought it for 8gs last yr and put a system, hood, and rims on it. Why would you sell it for 2400 bucks unless u know something BIG is wrong with it? Damn 2400 sounds like a good deal though, wish I could go and see it :(
